How to display impedance in ohms on a time-domain measurement.
The normal display of S11 is reflection coefficient, not impedance.
If you wish to have your time-domain data displayed as impedance, and you are
using an Agilent 8510, 8753, or 8720 series VNA, then
the "Conversions" function can do the job. Follow these steps:
- Measure S11
- Set frequencies and calibrate
- Turn transform on
- Format = Real
- Measure > Conversion > Z:refl
- Scale = 1
You now have a time-domain display of impedance at 1 ohm/div.
